Why DOMO ?

This is DOMO. I'm pretty sure everyone's lovin' it except me. I just don't see what's into domo ..? For one thing for sure, this thing is like a phenomenon almost like when Justin Bieber became KNOWN. Maybe this domo thing exist long time ago and just got famous in Malaysia and I just got to know bout it, maybe... But why is everyone is obsess with it ? Okay, if you guys as blur I am for the first time I saw this domo thing (was on my schoolmate bag, purse, key chain etc), let me tell you where did it came from. I got to know bout it from a blog, she says that domo is an official mascot of a Japan television station. Its originally pronounce as Domo-Kun. I found it very funny to pronounce, its like you're mouth full of food and trying to talk at the same time, DAH MAKAN ? HAHA ! Its true, I've done it. Try it for yourself. Hee... :) Okay, back to the story, I Google it to find more and the Wikipedia says, Domo-kun first appeared in short stop-motion sketches in December 1998 to mark the 10th anniversary of NHK's satellite broadcasting. The name "Domo" was acquired during the second episode of his show in which a TV announcer said, "dōmo, konnichiwa" (どうも、こんにちは^?), which is a greeting meaning something along the lines of, "Well, hello there!", but which can also be interpreted as "Hello, Domo". So I believe that this was discovered when the K-POP sensation spread all over Asia Tenggara (well, if I say Asia, Japan is part of Asia right ?). No offence to those Domo Lovers, but I think is just a TOY :)

They even make a Fashion out of it !
